Correct & Brighten Under-eye Darkness
How dark you are under your eyes changes day-to-day. Each morning look at yourself objectively and assess the situation. Depending on your degree of darkness you will want to enlist one or all of the following steps.
After prepping the under-eye with Line Refiner and giving it a moment to absorb:
Always start with a brightener like my Correct & Brighten in the inner-V of the eye area, the dark indentation known as the tear trough that I call the "danger zone for darkness," and along the lower lash line, pressing it into skin with the pad of your finger or a Laydown Brush for the best coverage.
For your darker days, apply concealer over your brightener and where dark, pressing it into skin with the pad of your finger or Laydown Brush for the best coverage.
If fine lines are a concern of yours in addition to darkness, apply a brightener with luminizing properties like my Instant Eye Lift to the inner-V and the triangle of light, an inverted triangle under the eye. The luminosity will diffuse the look of fine lines as it brightens, opening up the eye area for an instant eye lift. As always, for the best coverage press the product into skin with the pad of your finger or a Laydown Brush.
