TIPS & LOOKS

Brows

I have always been in awe of the difference a brow makes. Filling in and shaping your eyebrows will instantly frame your eyes and dress up your face. I designed my Precision Brow Pencil for unprecedented ease of application and the most precise results. Here are my mistake-proof steps for creating a well-defined brow.
  • Step One: Using your Precision Brow Pencil as a ruler, lay it vertically against the side of your nose; that is where your brow should begin. Make a little mark.
  • Step Two: Looking straight ahead, align your pencil with your pupil; that is where your brow should arch. Make a little mark.
  • Step Three: Lay your pencil vertically against the side of your nose again, swing the tip to the outer corner of your eye; that is where your brow should end. Make a little mark.
  • Step Four: Now, brush your brow hairs into place in the direction of growth using the brush end of the Pencil. Following the guide of your marks, fill in your brows in short strokes using a light-handed motion. My Pencil is designed to do much of the work for you, so simply stroke where you see sparseness until your brows look even and defined.
  • Step Five: Using the brush end again, brush through your brows to blend and perfectly groom.
  • Trish Tip: Set with Brow Gel to achieve flawless placement for the day!

Lashes

My mascaras will enhance your lashes from every angle. My High Volume and Lash Curling Mascaras are formulated to optimally volumize, separate, lengthen or curl. They are one-hundred percent smudge-proof and come off in traceless sheaths simply as you wash your face. Here are my tips for the best mascara application:
  • Step 1: Select your mascara! Use my Lash Curling formula to lengthen, separate and curl, and use my High Volume Mascara for the longest, thickest, most beautifully separated lashes.
  • Step 2: Withdraw the wand of your mascara and wipe off the end on the edge of the tube. A very important tip is to look into the mirror chin-up and start at the very base of your lashes right at the roots. Then wiggle the brush in a side-by-side motion up through your lashes.

Luminizer

My Luminizer is a must-have product for every woman concerned about the appearance of fine lines, complexion dullness and under-eye darkness. It truly is a power product that has become essential for many women as it addresses so many concerns.
Step One: The first time you use it, give the pen ten twists till the product flows to the tip. Working from the back of your hand as a palette, apply Luminous Luminizer in the "Triangle of Light" from under the inside lower lash line, down to the apple of the cheek and up along the cheekbone. Press into skin with a laydown brush or your finger.
  • Trish Tip 1: Apply Luminizer before your foundation or concealer?the luminosity will come through. Luminizer can also be used blended into your foundation for subtle all-over luminosity.
  • Trish Tip 2: Apply just above your upper lip line to diffuse and deflect the appearance of fine lines above lips.
  • Trish Tip 3: Apply over lips before lip color to diffuse lines and make lips look their fullest best!

Blush

Blush is one of the most important steps in complexion enhancement. It makes you look rested and instantly enhances your complexion.
  • Step 1: Dip your brush into the blush you have chosen and always tap off excess.
  • Step 2: When applying your blush the key is placement. Always place blush starting at the high apple of your cheek and blend slightly out.
  • Step 3: BLEND, blend, blend

Eye Base Essentials and Concealer

The twin best friends that (almost) every woman needs

Eye Base Essentials

Just as important as evening out and brightening beneath your eyes is brightening above the eye. My Eye Base Essentials is an eye brightener and eye shadow primer that in addition to perfecting the upper-eye area holds your eye shadow all day or is simply pretty on its own.
  • Step 1: While with most of my products I say less is more, Eye Base Essentials is an exception to the rule. You really want the coverage this product gives.
  • Step 2: Look into the mirror chin-up to see your entire lid. Using your finger or one of my Laydown Brushes, place Eye Base Essentials on the ball of your lid and working upward and outward blend quickly and evenly.
  • Step 3: Make sure you've gotten coverage along your lash line, up to your brow, and into the inner corner of your eye-the danger zone for darkness that is often overlooked. Blend edges with your finger or brush.
  • Step 4: If you wear eye shadow apply it over your Eye Base Essentials and enjoy the flawless application all day!

Under-eye Concealer

Concealer is one of the most important steps in every woman's makeup application, and almost every woman needs at least a little concealer to look her vibrant best.
  • Step 1: Not every day do you have the same amount of darkness so choose the concealer that's right for the amount of darkness that you have. Some days you may need a little more, some a little less.
  • Step 2: Always prime your under-eye area with an eye cream and let it absorb for one minute.
  • Step 3: Apply your Luminizer in the Triangle of Light-on many days that may be enough.
  • Step 4: On days you need brightening use my Correct and Brighten pen to correct shadowing.
  • Step 5: For days you have darkness use a concealer.
  • Step 6: When applying your concealer use a laydown or concealer brush to achieve perfect placement. The brush will place the concealer precisely where you need it. Then press the product into skin with your finger for the best coverage and perfect finish!
  • Trish Tip: Don't forget the outer corner of the eye!

Eye "Definer"

My pressed-powder Eye Definers are triple-pigmented to beautifully enhance the lash line.
  • Step 1: Select your brush depending on the thickness or smokiness of the line you want. For the finest line use my Brush 11 Precise Eye Lining or Brush 50 Angled Eye Lining. For a smokier line use my Brush 54 Va Va Voom.
  • Step 2: Press your brush into the Definer, tap off excess, and test color on the back of your hand.
  • Trish Tip: Use my Finish Line to transform the powder into a waterproof liquid line. Using the back of your hand as a palette, wet your brush with Finish Line then press it into the powder. Blend Finish Line and Definer on your hand until you have the consistency you desire or a paste-like texture.
  • Step 3: Apply Eye Definer in a connect-the-dot manner along lash line for a perfectly even line.
  • Trish Tip: Smudge the line with my Va Va Voom or Precision Smudge Brush if you want a stronger smokey eye!
